My art pieces are a journey, a trail of "moments" of inspiration. Primarily I use my photographs, with the occasional use of my charcoal drawings /acrylic paintings and integrate them digitally until everything gels. The layering is then condensed into one image which is printed on to the flat two dimensional art piece: condensed moments. An immigrant to Aotearoa from the North West Coast of Scotland moving nine years ago, I love the vibrancy and richness of the land here, and especially love walking in the bush. Water elements are never far away and are symbolically important in my work as well as in my life. Sometimes I have a definite idea I wish to convey, at other times I work with the images until something emerges, an exploration of my inner landscape 'translating' dreamtime, bringing it to light.
Artpieces are available framed as limited
edition prints mounted on board with archival ink and laminated.
Square pieces are 840mm x 840mm.
