About the role:
The person we are looking for must be a “good bugger” and experienced in your field of interiors and must be able to work unsupervised. A willingness to teach others would be awesome.

Responsibilities:

Ensures adherence to health and safety requirements and safe work procedures/practices.
Repair cracks, defects or damaged surfaces & prepare surfaces for plastering, repair & apply appropriate materials to surfaces to the required standard. E.g. Level 4 or level 5 finish.
Use appropriate tools/materials for specific jobs.
Erection & dismantling of scaffold appropriate for specific jobs.
Maintain a clean & tidy work area.
Adhere to Quality Assurance procedure.
Ensure a high level of personal presentation at all times.
Assess building for appropriate plasterboard layout and install vapour barriers and insulation as required.
Apply and fix plasterboard partitions, acoustic tiles, fire rating systems, suspended ceilings and composite wall linings as required.
Measure, mark and cut plasterboard to the correct size and fit panels by securing them to walls, battens and ceilings.
Prepare corner beads and secure them in position.
Fix precast cornices, ceiling centres, plaster fittings and panel mouldings as required.
Repair cracks, defects or damaged surfaces & prepare surfaces for plastering.
Prepare & apply appropriate materials to surfaces to the required standard. E.g. Level 4 or level 5 finish.

Pay band $30 – $42 per hour, depending on experience!

Minimum hours of work: 44 hours per week
