Projects / Hamilton
When you walk into Les Mills Hamilton for the first time, you’d be forgiven for thinking that it was not intended to be a gym.
With its beautiful tasmanian ash ceiling battens that grace the hallway, that follow on to an amazing shark tooth like ceiling above the main workout area, it is indeed at the sharp point of architecture.
This contract had a few things that we would not see everyday, such as the custom diamond Asona Triton hanging cloud panels in the aerobics room, that follow through into the RPM room. This ensures that the members in these large open rooms don’t have to put up with loud echoing as you would normally expect. The Asona panels that hang in this area absorb the sound as it travels, to provide a pleasant area for members to work out in.
The Good Buggers installed these panels with pinpoint accuracy using the latest laser technology to ensure we provide exactly what the architect has designed. Although this is the”bespoke” end of the contract, we also installed all gib and insulation throughout the job, and the standard suspended ceilings, both gib and tiles, that you see throughout the building.
