What about the role:
Reporting to the Contracts Manager you will manage a portfolio of projects ensuring the builds meet quality standards and client requirements. As the successful candidate you must be able to work in a team environment. People Management skills are a must, you must be capable of leading a team of construction and trade professionals.
Our ideal candidate:
Coordinate projects, including future programming of projects to ensure resources are allocated accordingly.
Ensures project requirements, targets and programs are met.
Understand project contracts conditions, ensuring specific conditions are adhered to.
Monitor job budgets ensuring project allowances (labour, materials, plant) are accounted for.
Place orders of materials based on estimates provided by QS, ensuring lead-times have been accounted for then placing orders.
Undertake and document thorough quality assurance of our work ensuring all supplied drawings, NZ building codes and standards are correctly adhered to.
Proven track record of leading a team and delivering projects on time and to budget.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with our clients and meeting their expectations is essential.
Comprehensive knowledge of the building process from start to finish, methods and materials.
Knowledge of site safety procedures and practices.
High integrity and trustworthiness.
Work closely within a team environment.

Remuneration: Salary will depend on experience.
